MacSween Ceremonial Haggis
Our award-winning recipe for the haggis lover. This big boy is perfect for celebrations or Burns Night ceremonies. The ceremonial haggis, serves 18-20 people for a main course. The large haggis is generally carried in on a silver salver at the start of the proceedings. It is brought to the table a kilt clad piper plays a suitable, rousing accompaniment. One of the invited artistes then recites the poem before the theatrical cutting of the haggis with the ceremonial knife. The ceremony is great theatre and brilliant fun to watch for the attended guests.
The large haggis is also often referred to as a ceremonial haggis and our large MacSween haggis is used for a Burns Supper or Scottish celebration.
